Their first album, Schleppin West, has received international critical acclaim. Together, the couple created B.L.K, Inc., a non-profit foundation dedicated to the preservation and regeneration of Yiddish culture through live performance.

Ms. Sterling serves as cantorial soloist for Congregation Kol HaLev, and The L'Chayim Center of Houston. Additionally, Ms. Sterling is the K-2 music teacher at Congregation Beth Yeshurun.
